Role: Senior Laboratory Technologist Location: Relocation to Bermuda Required Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Starting salary $83k We are seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Technologist to lead and oversee our diagnostic laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results. Key Responsibilities: • Perform and oversee routine and specialized laboratory tests with precision and accuracy. • Ensure compliance with local and international laboratory regulations and quality standards. • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures. • Train and supervise junior laboratory staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. • Analyze and interpret test results, providing insights to support clinical decision-making. • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in internal audits and quality assurance programs. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. • Strong knowledge of laboratory accreditation standards and quality control measures. • Proficiency in laboratory information systems and diagnostic technologies. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
