About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a stylish Boutique Hotel in Derby, part of a well-established and growing hotel group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional with a hands-on approach and a strong background in Front Office, Reservations, and Food & Beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring smooth running of all departments.
- Lead and support the Front Office, Reservations, House Keeping and F&B teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage guest relations and resolve issues promptly with professionalism and efficiency.
- Monitor staff performance, conduct training, and foster a positive team culture.
- Drive revenue and profitability through effective cost control and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with the Group's management team to align hotel operations with brand standards and business objectives.
- Report on occupancy, revenue, and departmental KPIs.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a similar operations management role within a hotel environment.
- Strong background in Front Office and F&B is essential.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Guest-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office.
- A flexible, can-do attitude and a desire to grow within a reputable hotel group.
