RSR Global is recruiting an experienced and commercially focused General Manager for a well-established Boutique Hotel in England.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who can take full responsibility for hotel operations, guest experience, team leadership, commercial performance and continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the management and operational teams.
  • Deliver consistently high standards of guest service and satisfaction.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability and overall commercial performance.
  • Manage budgets, costs, payroll and financial targets.
  • Work closely with Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments.
  • Develop sales, marketing and business development opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety, compliance and operational control.
  • Monitor guest reviews and implement improvements where required.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, local businesses and key stakeholders.
  • Support recruitment, training, performance management and staff development.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the hotel's reputation, occupancy and profitability.

Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Hotel Manager.
  • Strong operational and commercial hospitality experience.
  • Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
  • A proven ability to improve revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations and service standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Confidence in budgeting, forecasting and financial management.
  • A hands-on and results-oriented management style.
  • The ability to work effectively in a boutique or independently operated hotel environment.
