Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
- Lead, motivate and develop the management and operational teams.
- Deliver consistently high standards of guest service and satisfaction.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability and overall commercial performance.
- Manage budgets, costs, payroll and financial targets.
- Work closely with Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments.
- Develop sales, marketing and business development opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety, compliance and operational control.
- Monitor guest reviews and implement improvements where required.
- Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, local businesses and key stakeholders.
- Support recruitment, training, performance management and staff development.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the hotel's reputation, occupancy and profitability.
Candidate Profile
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Hotel Manager.
- Strong operational and commercial hospitality experience.
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
- A proven ability to improve revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and service standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Confidence in budgeting, forecasting and financial management.
- A hands-on and results-oriented management style.
- The ability to work effectively in a boutique or independently operated hotel environment.
