About the Role
RSR Global is recruiting on behalf of a reputable hospitality client near Durham for two Chef de Partie positions. This role is ideal for experienced chefs seeking a stable opportunity within a professional kitchen environment offering competitive pay, service charge, and accommodation support.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with established recipes and standards
- Manage a designated kitchen section during service
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
Kitchen Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and ordering
- Minimise waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients
Team Support
- Assist in supervising and guiding junior kitchen staff
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service
- Communicate effectively with Sous Chef and Head Chef
Compliance & Food Safety
- Adhere to all UK food hygiene, health, and safety regulations
- Maintain HACCP standards and kitchen documentation
- Ensure safe handling and storage of food products
Candidate Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in high-volume or quality-driven kitchens
- Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications
