Mr Divya Prakash is a senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, and a Lower Limb Specialist. His special interest is dealing with sports injuries. He is one of the leaders in the fields of joint preservation surgery, including cartilage transplant, and partial knee replacement. He often uses computer navigation and PSI (patient specific instrumentation) while performing joint replacements. Friendly and approachable, Mr Prakash always involves the patient in the decision-making process to find a solution that best suits their individual needs and lifestyle. He has lectured and presented widely at national and international levels and is constantly researching new and improving methods of treatment. As a BASK executive, he is the national Lead for Coding, and represents BASK at the EWG (Expert Working Group). He is a faculty member and examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons and is Honorary Senior Lecturer at Birmingham and Aston Universities. He is also the Medical Director for Worcestershire Cricket Board and Honorary Surgeon for Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
