As a Mig Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds and fabrications to meet client specifications. Responsibilities:
- Perform Mig welding and fabrication tasks to produce high-quality components and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Interpret and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to accurately carry out welding and fabrication tasks.
- Conduct quality inspections of welded components to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues or defects in a timely manner to maintain production flow.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to welding, safety, and quality control.
- Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, time spent, and completed work.
Essential Criteria:
- Valid Trade Certificate in Welding or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Mig Welder/Fabricator in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in Mig welding techniques and familiar with various welding processes.
- Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Desirable Criteria:
- Additional certifications or qualifications in welding or fabrication.
- Experience with other welding processes such as TIG or Stick welding.
- Familiarity with welding different materials, such as stainless steel or aluminium.

Wages: Rate £11.85 per / hour @ 43.5 Hrs p/w = £26804.70
