System Engineer

Job description:
Leading the system architecture and design process, writing system documents, intimate familiarity with all system components (hardware, software, network protocol, algorithms, mechanics, etc.), system integration of sensor networks, wireless communication systems, miniature drones, management, control and monitoring. Problem solving, research and solution. Working with customers and managing subcontractors. Participation in unit tests up to system-level tests in the laboratories and in the field.
Required knowledge and experience:
At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering of multidisciplinary projects
Holds a B.Sc (or higher) in one of the fields of engineering / physics / computer science
Extensive knowledge of the fields of hardware, software, algorithms, mechanics
MATLAB – an advantage
Experience in working with hardware and embedded software – an advantage
Experience with sensor systems – an advantage
Background in wireless communication networks and protocol development an advantage
·Experience with drones and airborne systems – an advantage
