A global services company is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to manage activities in the information technology procurement function, reporting directly to the CTO.
Roles & Responsibilities
Cost-Efficiency: Ensure products and services are purchased in the most cost-effective manner.
Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate contracts and vendors thoroughly.
Supplier Decisions: Make final decisions regarding suppliers.
Issue Resolution: Resolve escalated issues arising from operations with suppliers.
Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure stakeholders are involved in the IT procurement decision-making process.
Risk Management: Plan and negotiate organizational-wide agreements to reduce risk.
Optimal Terms: Provide optimum terms and conditions, estimate, and resolve execution barriers on time.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain professional business relations with key external and internal stakeholders.
Strategic Projects: Lead strategically critical projects that bring exceptional value to the company through total cost reduction and key supplier relationships.
Ongoing review and audit license usage.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 3+ years of proven working experience in IT procurement.
Relationship Building: Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Problem Solving: Creative mindset, problem solver, service-oriented, and independent.
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Results-Oriented: Ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
Financial Awareness: Commercially and financially aware.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage
