Job description – HEAD HOUSE KEEPER
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Manager to join our team. The property is situated in magnificent scenery in the Vale of Llangollen, North Wales where the hotel and restaurant combine traditional charm within comfort of an original 19th-century building. The hotel offers 47 modern bedrooms including, suites, spa facilities and function room for up to 150 guests.
Skills Required
– A proven track record in a housekeeping team.
– Ability to develop and manage a housekeeping team to deliver EBH Group set standards within the department.
– The ability to understand, manage and operate the hotels Risk-Management platform.
– The ability to manage costs, productivity and profitability whilst maintaining set standards.
– Demonstrate enthusiasm, innovation and creativity.
– Demonstrate effective administration skills.
– To understand and use the employee training platform: Flow Training.
– Ability to motivate, lead and support the housekeeping team.
– Ability to manage challenging situations / conflict in a calm and effective manner.
– Ability to delegate and empower other team members to work effectively.
– Ability to uphold policies, procedures and code of conduct as provided by the company.
– The ability to demonstrate a strong customer focus should be at the heart of all tasks.
– Ability to train and coach team members to their full potential.
– The ability to correct and manage underperformance, where observed, through the adoption of a progressive, disciplined approach. (i.e. Lateness, absenteeism, poor performance) following the EBH Group Employee Handbook guidance.
